Arete has worked with many talented designers. Vilma Mare's day-glo-a-go-go suits were designed specifically for Arete dancers, and Paul George's campy beach-suits were created for a performance in New York City. Other costumes have been designed by Mhina dada, Samantha D, and C.V.C. Fashions.
Arete has also presented some of the fashion world's most cutting edge designers at their fashion shows. A recent show at New York's Webster Hall featured Garo Sparo and Gaelyn and Cianfarani. All Arete performances feature costumes by emerging designers. In addition to Webster Hall, fashion shows have been held at venues such Downtime and Maxwells.
